Complaint by Megan :

Price seems to good to be true. Unfortunately I had no clue it was a scam until I gave her my name and address. Luckily I did not give her any money until I researched her name and found that it was a scam. Could she potentialy do anything with my name and address?

Play with them. Use a side hotmail accnt that you don't use for anything else. Have fun wasting their time... i almost got one to send me a good faith $20 cashier check in hopes he or she would receive their attempted scam. Not a waste of my time... little effort, fun reward. I always check first then throw the line out there baited... use alias name, etc. Some are automated responses until you give them some extra flavor bait. It is their way of filtering those the naive from the educated. Naive or those playing them need only proceed. Oh, and don't just call them out that is an easy delete and log of your email for them... play them. :)

Complaint by John :

I just about got taken by these people too. Got the complete divorce story and even got to see a copy of the Ranger's title. Looked Tammy up on facebook. All looked so real, but in the end it was all a sham. I was about 20 minutes away from sending my name and address. Glad I checked her email address on google and found this site. I asked to meet her in person and she never emailed me back. Too good to be true...it probably is.

Just got scammed by Tammy Waln and Nigel Penton. The deal was too good to pass up. But you can believe that I have contacted the attorney general in Minnesota and Florida. As far as Craigslist, if isn't within driving distance. Leave it alone.

Complaint by Christy :

Tammy Waln just sent me her sad story about the divorce. Almost got scammed once before on Craigslist. Thank goodness for google. Always tell them you have cash in hand upon viewing of the item. When they start giving excuses, tell them you are onto them, or play them a while. I did that on a car and it was amusing to back them Into a corner while they were begging for my money.

Did some research and stopped before the western union transaction. Wish that Craig's list would flag these people before they get on their post. Buy with cash in person I guess is the best option to avoid scams.

This email address is involved in craigslist scam regarding a Polaris Ranger. The alias name that they use is Tammy Waln from Wadena MN. That is not who they really are.
