oh boy, something weird going on over here again. log's lighting up like its christmas and not in the good way. just spent twenty minutes staring at whatever that freakin thing was doing. why does every day have to include a new headache with this stuff. seriously who has time for this, i just want a cup of coffee. maybe i should just unplug the router and live in the woods. NOBODY TOLD ME BEING SYSADMIN WAS THIS MUCH FREAKIN FUN.

Yo, anyone else see that weird spike from somewhere weird last night? My logs went all Matrix on me, so I had to triple check my firewall rules just in case. Whoever is poking around like that, hope you like staring at a brick wall because that’s all you’re getting. Not sure if someone thinks they're in a spy movie, but please get a hobby. Internet's messy enough without randos playing hacker.

got this weird spike in my apache logs this morning, like some bot just smashed the login endpoint for 3 hours straight. never saw so many 401s back to back. if someone is trying to hack in, they really need a better script, cause this thing keeps tripping the rate limiter. checked the user agent, it's claiming to be Chrome but idk, looks fake as ****. my fail2ban rules caught most of it before it got cute. part of me wants to just block whole subnets but i know i'm not supposed to. probably just some bored kid with nothing better to do on a tuesday. wondering if anyone else is seeing the same weird garbage. logs are ridiculous today, glad I checked early. why can't these clowns go target something actually insecure for once

Some fishy business goin on here, I swear. Opened the dashboard and BAM, there’s this weird traffic spike at 3am, who does that? Usually I’d blame my cat for stepping on the keyboard but this looks way more organized. Connections trying to hit random ports, like someone’s just seeing what fits. Firewall chirped louder than my phone on payday. Anyone know if Chrome extensions can do this kinda thing? Bit tired of cleaning up these messes, like patching a roof in a rainstorm. Will keep watch, but it’s getting kinda old chasing ghosts in the machine. Stay sharp folks, these weirdos never sleep.

so i saw this weird spike last night in my nginx logs and I swear it looked like someone tried every password combo imaginable every minute for a whole hour. Never seen something hammer at the login endpoint like that before. feels like a bot got super interested in my little site for no good reason. pretty annoyed at cleaning up the mess in the morning. Who are these people and what do they want from a tiny blog about ducks. by the way, whoever is poking around out there, kindly get a hobby that isnt trying to break into random servers. guess I’ll spend my weekend learning about fail2ban configs again

Anyone else noticing traffic spikes from weird places lately? Looked through the logs and almost spit out my coffee. Not sure if it’s a botnet, hacked fridge or my neighbor streaming cat videos in 240p. Reminds me of that one time my printer tried to order pizza. Don’t click anything weird, folks, seriously. Gonna block this and watch my firewall do its dance.

Saw something fishy popping up in my server logs from this spot. Keeps poking around like it owns the place or something. Not sure if it's bot or just someone really bored with too much time. Either way anyone else getting hit by this weirdo lately?

hm what is going on with these connections last night? totally weird traffic spikes outta nowhere. tried to follow the breadcrumbs but it’s like someone’s playing hide and seek in the logs and i’m losing. login attempts way over the usual, can’t tell if its just a prank or some bored bot. didn’t sleep much hacking away at this, mind you. made coffee, forgot coffee, found coffee cold. anyone else seeing random redirects or is my dashboard just tripping today? if you’re snooping around here, at least have the decency to leave a calling card right? port scanning so 2007 lol. blocking whole range for now, fix it later if i broke something, not risking it. maybe it’s time to get a cat, cats don’t care about firewalls.
