I dont usually call out IPs but todays logs went bananas with some weird port scanning nonsense. Looked into the email headers and something smells fishy in the From field. My SIEM flagged it as a potential sniffing attempt so I dug deeper. Now Im no theory master but seeing repeated failed logins and odd user agents got my spidey senses tingling. To be honest this reeks of a bot farm or some script kiddie testing the waters. Someone better wake up and patch those open RDP endpoints before this turns into a full blown mess. Im posting so it aint buried in some syslog abyss. Lets see if this ripples some action towards better monitoring. Dont say I didnt warn ya.

How the **** am I supposed to get France Telecom to stop every spam email that goes out from 0.000001 percent of their subscribers? Thanks.
