DNSBL* - is a list of IP addresses published through the Internet Domain Name Service (DNS) either as a zone file that can be used by DNS server software, or as a live DNS zone that can be queried in real-time. DNSBLs are most often used to publish the addresses of computers or networks linked to spamming; most mail server software can be configured to reject or flag messages which have been sent from a site listed on one or more such lists.
WHOIS** - is a query/response protocol that is widely used for querying databases in order to determine the registrant or assignee of Internet resources, such as a domain name, an IP address block, or an autonomous system number. WHOIS lookups were traditionally performed with a command line interface application, and network administrators predominantly still use this method, but many simplified web-based tools exist. WHOIS services are typically communicated using the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP). Servers listen to requests on the well-known port number 43.
** Approximate Geographic Location - This is NOT the exact geographical location of the person/organization with the given IP address. However, this should still give you a good idea about the area/region where this person/orgranization is located.

For several years now, this company has been hacking me with this IP. It tends to attach its processes to me remotely when I am performing trades on TD Ameritrade or Scottrade, or when I am going into my bank account or Discover credit card. My guess, "Markit On Demand", formerly "Wallstreet on Demand", is scraping data from my screens, selling this info in a real-time basis to hedge funds and individual investors with a subscription to their sites so that they can short my stocks using the info from my screens (i.e. margin amounts, holdings, interest level in stocks via Yahoo quotes, etc.) I believe what they are doing is highly illegal since they appear to be putting key loggers and hidden processes on my PC. Anytime a person who has this IP connected and attempting to trade stocks, stock prices are manipulated up or down (to the detriment of the local PC investor). I have lost tons of money in the market due to the price manipulation occurring while this IP is connected to my PC. Stock prices will move 5-30 percent in 1-2 seconds when logging into a trading account, and equity trades are hard to fill because the bid and ask are being manipulated by this IP. Have seen this phenomena on both Yahoo Quotes and while trying to make trades in both TD Ameritrade accounts and Scottrade accounts.
