Just spent the evening buried in server logs and something fishy was poking at port 22. The same unknown user kept smashing bad creds like they think im running a nudist firewall. If it was a real user id send them an invoice for my therapy bills. But its prolly some botnet kiddie doing a friday night port scan instead of netflix. Crazy how they reckon they can slip past my rusty iptables guard dog. Gonna let fail2ban have its fun and auto ban em for a day just to watch em complain. While im at it ill patch the kernel and reboot cause why not. Good luck next time script kitty wont crack this l33t fortress.
